Terms of service.

These terms govern your use of the Stage Plot Forge website, macOS application, account, lifetime license, and related services.

Agreement and eligibility

These terms are between you and the operator of the Stage Plot Forge product and online service. By purchasing, downloading, or using Stage Plot Forge, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement.

Software license

During the trial described below, Stage Plot Forge grants you a temporary, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the application. Subject to these terms and a completed purchase, Stage Plot Forge grants you a perpetual, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the application for your own personal or professional production work. The application and its included artwork, symbols, interface, and code remain the property of Stage Plot Forge and its licensors.

You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, reverse engineer, circumvent access controls, use the service to violate law or third-party rights, or interfere with the security or operation of the application and online services, except where a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

14-day trial

The trial begins the first time Stage Plot Forge is opened on a Mac and runs for 14 consecutive days. It provides creating, editing, opening, printing, preflight, and export features without requiring an account or payment.

When the trial ends, creating and editing are disabled. Existing local documents remain openable, printable, and exportable. A completed one-time purchase replaces the trial restriction with the perpetual license described in these terms.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for providing accurate account information and protecting access to your email account, Mac, and Stage Plot Forge account. Tell us promptly at jptechapplications@gmail.com if you believe your account or entitlement has been used without permission.

One-time purchase and payment

The standard offer is a €29 one-time payment for a lifetime license unless a different price or currency is clearly shown before checkout. Stripe processes the payment. Taxes may be added where required. There are no recurring charges.

Refunds and withdrawal rights are provided where required by applicable law or expressly offered at checkout. Contact jptechapplications@gmail.com with the account email and purchase details if you need help with a payment.

If a payment is refunded, reversed after a dispute, or otherwise becomes unpaid, the associated online entitlement may be revoked. That server-side status takes effect in the app when it next connects and refreshes. Because purchased access is designed to keep working offline, we cannot remotely deactivate a disconnected Mac in real time.

Lifetime license and local documents

The one-time purchase provides a perpetual license to use the purchased application, subject to these terms. Your existing local documents remain openable, printable, and exportable with the supported application. You remain responsible for keeping backups of your documents and exported production packs.

Updates and availability

We may update the application, symbol library, formats, requirements, pricing, and online services over time. We aim to provide a reliable service, but maintenance, security incidents, provider failures, or circumstances beyond reasonable control can cause interruptions. Some updates may be required to keep online account and entitlement features working securely.

Production responsibility

Stage Plot Forge is a planning and documentation tool. You are responsible for reviewing every stage plot, input list, technical rider, safety note, measurement, equipment requirement, and export before relying on it. The application does not replace a qualified production, electrical, structural, rigging, accessibility, or safety assessment.

Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Stage Plot Forge is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service or reliance on production documents.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, or limits mandatory consumer rights.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate online access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security risks, unlawful use, material breach, non-payment, or harm to the service or others. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will survive.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms to reflect product, provider, business, or legal changes. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel when required. Continued use after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Questions about these terms, the Stage Plot Forge service operator, or a purchase can be sent to jptechapplications@gmail.com. Mandatory laws and consumer protections in your place of residence continue to apply.
